Pieces It's A Camouflage

Hi all,

I finally had some time to go to Pieces. They sell accessories and clothing & now nailpolish as well. I just bought one color because the others aren't that cool. It's a camouflage is an army/olive green creme and it's awesome!! If you like army and weird greens, get it now!

I did two coats and no topcoat. I really like the application of this beauty. There were no problems with the brush or formula. Another good thing is the dryingtime. The only thing I don't like is the square cap. Makes it harder to hold propperly.
Pieces Nailpolish is available for €2,95 a bottle so nothing wrong with that!!

Have a good weekend,
Linnie

Essie Turquoise & Caicos

Hi all!

I'm having a headache again so this will be a short post.
After the glitter madness from last few days, I decided to keep it simple. Essie Turquoise & Caicos is a lovely spring color. It's kinda minty but not like other colors I own. Well, on to the pictures:

You are probably wondering "Why does she show only three nails??" Yugh, I have a broken nail. My pinkie is a little nubbie now. I don't know why but this is nail number 3 that's broke entirely :(

This manicure is two coats and could use an extra layer. I topped it with Diamont. Which gave me bubbles on some nails AGAIN. Why don't I learn from previous experience?? Essie & Nubar don't go well together.

I'm off to rest,
Thank you for stopping by!

Purple Madness

Hi all!!

Just wanted to show you my curvy purple manicure. I used three colours; Violet Sparkle, Hyacinth Sparkle and Petunia Sparkle. They are from the Nubar Sparkle collection and all awesome.
Because I'm not feeling very good, I stayed in all day so I had some time to do my nails. In the meanwhile I watched Wall-e :)

Purple = Violet Sparkle
Fuchsia/Pink = Petunia Sparkle
Lilac = Hyacinth Sparkle

All colors are two coats and one coat of Diamont. Because of the chunkyness I added a layer of Seche Vite (I still love that topcoat!)

Thank you for stopping by,
have a good week and hope to see you soon!

OPI Ink Suede NOTD

Hi everyone,

Just a quick NOTD today because I don't have anything new to show you.
I'm too busy but hey, what's new??!!

OPI Ink Suede

This manicure is one coat Suede, a layer of topcoat and one coat Suede to finish with. Just to make sure it lasts a few days :)

Ohw, please imagine this purple!!

That's all for now,
Have a good day!

Zoya Adina

Hi all!

Today just a quick NOTD. I'm wearing Zoya Adina, a beautiful duochrome from the Reverie Spring 2010 collection. The base is lavender/purple with green & gold duochrome. Well, Actually there are more colors depending on the light. It's awesome!!

Direct sunlight, the color is slightly lighter though.

This manicure is two coats and Diamont topcoat. Zoya doesn't love Diamont...as you can see, bubbles everywhere!! Too bad I didn't have the time to change my mani so I only have these crappy pictures...
Besides the airbubbles there is something else I don't like...the visible brushstrokes! Yugh!!

Have a good week,
Linnie :)

Nfu Oh #55

Hi all!!

Due to the lack of time, I'm wearing this polish already for a few days...
I decided to use Nfu Oh #55 over OPI Jade Is The New Black. #55 is a green base with golden glitter and flakes. It's very nice and I like the combination!
On to the pictures:

I did one coat of JITNB and one coat of #55, no topcoat! The dryingtime and appliction of the OPI was great! #55 is a bit runny but no problems came across.

Thank you for stopping by,

And the winner is...?

Hi all!!

First I would like to say I'm sad because the Netherlands didn't win the World Cup...but that's all I'm gonna write about it!! I've had enough :')

On to the winner of the Soccer Nail-Art Contest. It was a close call between Claudia and Thriszha...

1. Claudia, World Cup logo 2010

4. Thriszha

It was so close, they both have the same amount of votes...! I was a bit confused what to do....another voting round? Choose the winner by a vote from myself? Divide the prize?

After a lot of doubts I decided to divide the prize, so both ladies won the contest!!! Congratz!! I will email you in a minute :D

Thank you all for voting,
Linnie

Nubar Hyacinth Sparkle

Hi everyone,

Please don't forget to vote for your favorite Soccer Nail-Art!! It will end right after the World Cup Final, tomorrow!!!

Yes, weekend!!!! Because I worked 6 days, I didn't have the time to change my manicure as often as I would like to...But I will show you my 2 day old mani: Hyacinth Sparkle, a lovely lilac glitter from Nubar.

This is two layers and two coats of Nubar Diamont. It dries rather chunky so a thick layer of topcoat is a plus!! The pictures make it more dark but it's really light and glittery :)

Thank you for stopping by,
I'm sweating away so I need icecream...

Mint Comparison, Nfu Oh vs. China Glaze

Hi all,

How is your week?? I'm very busy which means I won't be able to post a lot... I'm still wearing Nubar Violet Sparkle but I don't even have good pictures of that!

A few weeks ago I did a comparison between Nfu Oh #156 & China Glaze Refresh Mint.

Index & ring - China Glaze Refresh Mint
Middle & pinkie - Nfu Oh #156

I believe this is three coats and both are average on formula and application. Once again no dupes. Well I'm happy, you can't have too many minties, right?? ;)

I'm off to sleep,
Bye bye

Nubar Jewel

Woooooot!! Holland won the World Cup match against Brazil!!
Semi-finals here we come!!

Today I didn't feel like doing an orange manicure and I decided to throw in some holo. When I bought a brown version of OPI My Privat Jet I was hoping it would be holo...but it was so disappointing I decided to find another brown holo. Nubar made me happy because there was Jewel. An awesome brown with superb holoness!!

I love this polish, holo yet worksafe!! This is two layers and Diamont topcoat. Great formula, application and dryingtime.

Thank you for visting,
don't forget to vote for your favorite Soccer Nailart entry!!
