2012 and some of my favorites

Hi all! It's been a busy year, with not as many blogposts as I wanted.
I hope 2012 will bring more nailpolish pictures...anyway... I've been browsing through my stash to pick some favorites. (I didn't buy much this year so a lot of my favs are older)

There are a lot of polishes I didn't show..For example: Nfu Oh 52, Zoya Charla, Zoya Ivanka, OPI Dating a Royal, Impala Na Mira 3D, Hits Apolo...
I'm terrible at ranking polishes, so just picked random pictures.

Impala Na Mira 3D...!!!

Hold on tight, this is an amazing polish!!!! It's black and holographic, not dull or lifeless, just awesome!!

This is three thin coats of Na Mira 3D. The formula is good, it dried fast and even with topcoat this polish rocks!

I love it.

Hits Speciallita Mundo De Dancas, Can Can

Today a totally different polish from Hits. Can Can is a polish from the Mundo de Dancas collection, which consists of gorgeous flakes. They come in a clear base or a colored base. Can Can is a grape/purple base with turquoise/teal flakes. I had some trouble getting the right color purple; it's a little more red in real life.

I applied two coats of Can Can, it dried fast and it has a good formula. After the polish was dry, I added a layer of topcoat. I really like this color, but I think the blue version (Twist) will be my favorite.

Hits Speciallita No Olympo, Atena

Today I will show you another nailpolish from Brazil. Hits Atena is a magenta/deep pink with an awesome holographic finish. The color is really fierce yet girlie. Here is a comparison with OPI ds Divine and ds Exclusive. They are very close, not dupes.

I don't have any daylight pictures but I tried my best with flash. Yes my cuticles are not in the best condition and I still try to grow my nails.

I added two coats of Atena and didn't use a topcoat. The formula is, once again, flawless! It dries fast and applies like butter. I'm not a pink fanatic but this is a musthave!!

Hits Speciallita No Olimpo, Apolo

The first Brazilian polish I will show you is Hits Apolo. This a blue holographic and is very vibrant/bright. The holographic particles are linear and show up almost everytime you look at the nails.

I bought a new camera so I'm still testing it to get the best results. Because of that the color is not 100% accurate, it's a tad lighter but I hope you will get the idea of how awesome/gorgeous this lacquer is!

The formula of this Hits polish is great. It dries fast and the application is good. I did two coats of Apolo on these photos. It doesn't need a topcoat but if you are going to seal it with a coat don't be affraid, the holographic-gorgeousness doesn't fade away!!
