Untried, Misa Toxic Seduction

I was looking at my Misa collection and came to the conclusion I never wore Toxic Seduction. At least, I can't remember I did...and it's such a shame! TS is a dark green shimmer and looks gorgeous. It is part of the Poisened Passion collection and was released in Fall 2008.

Toxic Seduction with a failed Konad. I used China Glaze's Metallic Muse to stamp with, but I think the polish dried to fast. I wasn't able to get the entire image on all the nails. Anyway.. I like it :)

Only one coat is neccessary to get an opaque result. I applied two, just because I can.. The formula is good and it dries fast. I added a topcoat to get it more glossy.

I know Toxic Seduction is a Misa favorite for a lot of people. I'm just curious, what's your favorite Misa polish?

Essence Glitterastic (LE, Crazy Good Times)

Hi all!

Today I will show you the layering polish from the Crazy Good Times collection. It's called Glitterastic and is a clear base polish packed with two types of glitter. Micro glitter spread over the entire base and some bigger hexagon particles. It's really nice and sparkly! On to the pictures...

This is a cool layering polish, but it also works great on it's own. The application and formula were okay. Not to thick or thin. A nice polish to have in my stash, great for upgrading a manicure.

Hits Speciallita No Olimpo, Demeter

Holografic polishes, who doesn't love them? I know I do, but I also love a good neon. Hits Demeter, from the Hits no Olympo collection,  is a medium orange holografic but is not super bright. I wanted to give it a neon edge.

At the base I applied two thin coats of Essie Bright Tights and I added two layers of Démeter. The result is a bright holografic manicure, it's pretty but I wish the sun came out more!!

I really love these Hits polishes, they have a great formula and gorgeous colours. Luckily my mom will spend her holiday in Brazil so hopefully she'll bring some more!!!

Essence Colourbration (LE, Crazy Good Times)

Essence colourbration...In the bottle it looks pretty nice but with my skintone it's not the best combination.
This Shrek-colour has tiny yellow/golden glitter and it's a cool polish because it's weird and unusual!!

To get the polish opaque I applied two coats and a topcoat to finish with. This polish was formulawise much better than Confetteria but still not good. It was on the thick side and took some time to get fully dry.

I like the oddness of the polish but the name could be better.
I renamed it:  'Shrek on Crack!'

Essence Confetteria (LE, Crazy Good Times)

Hello everyone,

Just a quicky today! I'm lacking time...again :')
Essence Confetteria is a bright dark blue jelly with glitter in different sizes. This polish is very pretty :)
Because of the verrrry cold weather in the Netherlands my hands look terrible...

I applied two coats of Confetteria and a layer of China Glaze FF Topcoat. The essence polish wasn't very nice to apply...it made my nails look thick and it took a long time to dry..
Besides the dislikes I adore this color!!

Essence LE, Crazy Good Times

A few days ago I ran into the display of Crazy Good Times, the new Limited Edition from Essence. Six shades with flakes or glitter. I have to say, Essence did a pretty good job...I bought 5 of them.

03 colourbration, 02 Princessorize, 06 Glitterastic, 04 Confettaria, 05 Candyction

Colourbration looks creme in the picture but it's actually a glitter.

I decided to wear Candyction first. This is a medium reddish-orange with flakes that shift from orange to yellow. The flakes aren't super noticable but very pretty. The pictures were taken after an entire workday...

I applied two coats of Candyction and it was a little on the thick side. It didn't dry very fast but with a good top coat it doesn't cause problems. 

Crazy Good Times is a nice limited edition, not as boring as some of the limited stuff we see these days.
