Essence Confetteria (LE, Crazy Good Times)

Hello everyone,

Just a quicky today! I'm lacking time...again :')
Essence Confetteria is a bright dark blue jelly with glitter in different sizes. This polish is very pretty :)
Because of the verrrry cold weather in the Netherlands my hands look terrible...

I applied two coats of Confetteria and a layer of China Glaze FF Topcoat. The essence polish wasn't very nice to apply...it made my nails look thick and it took a long time to dry..
Besides the dislikes I adore this color!!

Essence LE, Crazy Good Times

A few days ago I ran into the display of Crazy Good Times, the new Limited Edition from Essence. Six shades with flakes or glitter. I have to say, Essence did a pretty good job...I bought 5 of them.

From left to right

03 colourbration, 02 Princessorize, 06 Glitterastic, 04 Confettaria, 05 Candyction

Colourbration looks creme in the picture but it's actually a glitter.

I decided to wear Candyction first. This is a medium reddish-orange with flakes that shift from orange to yellow. The flakes aren't super noticable but very pretty. The pictures were taken after an entire workday...

I applied two coats of Candyction and it was a little on the thick side. It didn't dry very fast but with a good top coat it doesn't cause problems.

Crazy Good Times is a nice limited edition, not as boring as some of the limited stuff we see these days.

What do you think of this collection?? Which one do you like to see next?? Please let me know :)

Untried, Zoya Mimi

Hi all,

I was browsing through my helmers and I thought it was a good idea to wear one of my untrieds. I don't keep track of it but I'm pretty sure this baby has never left its drawer.

Zoya Mimi is from the Zoya Sparkle collection which came out in 2010. It's a redtoned purple and packed with glitter. Really pretty!

This is three coats of Mimi and China Glaze FF Topcoat. It has a great formula and dries fast.

I still don't know why this gorgeous polish was untried.....

Impala Na Mira 3D...!!!

Hold on tight, this is an amazing polish!!!! It's black and holographic, not dull or lifeless, just awesome!!

This is three thin coats of Na Mira 3D. The formula is good, it dried fast and even with topcoat this polish rocks!

Hits Speciallita Mundo De Dancas, Can Can

Today a totally different polish from Hits. Can Can is a polish from the Mundo de Dancas collection, which consists of gorgeous flakes. They come in a clear base or a colored base. Can Can is a grape/purple base with turquoise/teal flakes. I had some trouble getting the right color purple; it's a little more red in real life.

I applied two coats of Can Can, it dried fast and it has a good formula. After the polish was dry, I added a layer of topcoat. I really like this color, but I think the blue version (Twist) will be my favorite.

Hits Speciallita No Olympo, Atena

Today I will show you another nailpolish from Brazil. Hits Atena is a magenta/deep pink with an awesome holographic finish. The color is really fierce yet girlie. Here is a comparison with OPI ds Divine and ds Exclusive. They are very close, not dupes.

I don't have any daylight pictures but I tried my best with flash. Yes my cuticles are not in the best condition and I still try to grow my nails.

I added two coats of Atena and didn't use a topcoat. The formula is, once again, flawless! It dries fast and applies like butter. I'm not a pink fanatic but this is a musthave!!

Hits Speciallita No Olimpo, Apolo

The first Brazilian polish I will show you is Hits Apolo. This a blue holographic and is very vibrant/bright. The holographic particles are linear and show up almost everytime you look at the nails.

I bought a new camera so I'm still testing it to get the best results. Because of that the color is not 100% accurate, it's a tad lighter but I hope you will get the idea of how awesome/gorgeous this lacquer is!

The formula of this Hits polish is great. It dries fast and the application is good. I did two coats of Apolo on these photos. It doesn't need a topcoat but if you are going to seal it with a coat don't be affraid, the holographic-gorgeousness doesn't fade away!!

Today I finally got my nail-package from Brazil! Yay!
Melina bought me some stunning polishes, including holographic laquers from the Hits Speciallita No Olimpo collection. I wanted these babies the minute they came out!

Neon Leopard

I can't find my camera and it's really really annoying...!! Our big Canon had an empty battery so my only option was to take pictures with the iPhone..ah well....

For a while I didn't touch my Konad-drawer but yesterday I felt like doing something fun. Three neon colors and one of my favorite designs made this end-result:

P2 Black Deluxe LE, Black Pearl

First of all, I wish I could show you great nails but it's still crap! It's almost winter so that means a lot of wheels and tires are passing along on a regular workday. Which means I can't keep anything long(er).
Ugh, hate it! Too bad it's the same thing every year.

On to the nailpolish. When I was in my local drugstore, I saw P2's new limited edition called 'Black Deluxe' consisting of three nailpolishes. A red, blue and black glitter. I bought the black one, 'Black Pearl'. (The name..how original...) Well, black?? I think it's more of a dark navy blue but you will see :)

This is two coats of Black Pearl. It seems more blue than black but I like it. The glitter pops out in the sun and sometimes purple/pink glitter appears.

I definitely love P2, it always has good formula and it's cheap. I believe this polish costs € 1,95. This collection will be available in stores from the beginning of november.

Essence TE Re-mix Your Style, Topcoats

I know it's been a long time, but my nails are in a really bad condition. It is actually not worth taking photographs, but I ran into the new Trend Edition from Essence, called Re-mix Your Style. This collection has six base colors and four topcoats to give each base polish a "dazzling color experience"

I bought these two:

Holo finish - Pop Top coat, Just Can't Get Enough

Sparkling finish - Dance Top coat, Waking Up In Vegas

Just Can't Get Enough is a holografic topcoat in a rose golden base
(it reminds me of Nubar Gem)
To show you how it looks over a base color, I decided to try out my new Wibo polish, which is from the Lovely Crystal Strenght line in no. 327. I applied two coats.

Look at the big 'diamond' on top, haha!!

The ringfinger shows how it looks like with one thin layer of topcoat.

I really like the outcome of this topcoat, Essence did a great job on this holografic!!

The second topcoat is Waking Up In Vegas and has flakes. As a base I did two layers of a rose scented Wibo polish. Well.. I don't smell any roses whatsoever :) It's a fuchsia pink with pretty blue shimmer.

The flakes are pretty but not very visible on this pink polish. I tried it over a darkblue but there only appeared orange flakes. Didn't have my camera, so no pictures of a dark base. It looks like Gosh Rainbow, which also has a lot of orange in it.

What are your musthaves from this Trend Collection??

Essence TE Urban Messages, Skyscraper

The new Trend Edition from Essence is called Urban Messages. It is a nice collection but not really I-neeeed-to-have-it-stuff, except for one thing;
a nailpolish with the name 02 Skyscraper!

A concrete nude/beige/white glitter, it sounds funny but take a look at the pictures, than you'll see what I mean :)
(don't mind my, yet again, nubbie ringfinger...)

Do you see the blue glitter?? I dig it, I also looks like there are darker non glittery things in the nailpolish, the nails sorta look like rocks in real life. But with a tiny sparkle!

This manicure is two coats and China Glaze FF Topcoat. The formula of Skyscraper was good, I didn't have to wait long before it was dry. This bottle contains 10 ml of nailpolish, which is a lot for only 1 euro 75.

I believe this is a German Trend Edition, don't know if it will be available in other countries.

NOTD, a NY Summer Jelly + Milani Jewel FX

I adore jellies, especially the squishy look like it's still wet. I thought it was time for a green jelly which I haven't wore in a long time, New York Summer Amaranth. A gorgeous bright dark green jelly.
It's super cheap; I bought it for $1,59!

To spice it up, I added Milani Jewel FX Gold. These are golden hexagon glitters in a clear base. I only did one layer, and it is a bit difficult to get the glitter spread evenly on the nail. But what the heck, I like it :)

I applied two layers of NY Summer Amaranth and finished with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

You can still feel the glitter a bit but it's not annoying :)

LE Catrice Out Of Space, Moonlight Express

The second and last polish from the LE, Catrice 'Out Of Space' I will show you is 'Moonlight Express'. It's a dark blue with a bit of green touch to it. The polish has a lot of shimmer/microglitter in a teal color. A bit hard to discribe this polish but it is prettyy!! Take a look:

Look at the glitters when the sun appears!!

This is two coats and China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. Good formula and dryingtime. I think this is a gorgeous color and it reminds me of Sinful Colors What's Your Name? but that's in a black base. Anyway, great job on this polish. Blue and dark, just my cup of tea :)

Blurry to show the glitter!

These are swatched with Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base on my arm. Yes I am as white as an albino!! (though it's the inside of my arm..it's like I'm a goth or something :') I haven't seen any sun this summer)

Pigmentation on these is good, 'just a swipe with your fingertip over the eyeshadow and there's lots of color.
The eyeshadow is sold for €3.49 a piece and is limited available in Germany (thank god, for living 2 minutes from the border)

Limited Edition, Catrice Out Of Space

Ýes, finally a collection I really like :) Catrice Out of Space is a gorgeous glittery collection. Too bad some things were sold out...but these pretties came home with me!!

2 nailpolishes, 3 baked eyeshadows and a gel eye-liner.

The packages are sooo cute and spacy!!

Look at these, just awesome!!!

They glitter like crazy :D but you only see it when it's applied.

I swatched the first polish immediately. Meet 'Houston's Favorite', a shimmery teal. This is two coats and China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. I love these kind of colors!

The formula is a bit thick, but nothing I worry about. The dryingtime was average and the polish seems to dry a little lifeless. Like it's kinda matte but not really. Anyway, it needed a topcoat :)

I don't know were these will be sold, but if you have the chance to take a look, please do!

Neon NOTD

Just a quicky today, I'm painting the walls in the livingroom so my manicure is ruined already :')
Anyway..neons are great for this sunny weather, so here is some neon.
But as always, neons suck when taking pictures...it doesn't look like neon !!!!

I applied Essie Funky Limelight as a yellow base, China Glaze Sunworshiper (orange) and Flip Flop Fantasy (pink) for the stripes and dots.

I (still) have to make some time trying the tape-trick to get flawless stripes...

I'm off to paint some more.... :)

Holografic Skittles

Finally, a good day in the Netherlands. So I thought it would be fun to do a skittle manicure with a few holografic polishes. They dry quick and give an awesome effect in this weather!!

I tried to do a blueish-theme with the following colors:

Thumb, China Glaze Sexagon

Index, China Glaze 2Nite

Middle, China Glaze OMG

Ring, Nfu Oh 65

Pinkie, OPI d.s Original

All are three coats and no base or topcoat. I never have real troubles applying holografics. You just have to dry the previous coat enough before adding the new layer.

Not only a good holografic is great in this hot weather but right now I'm craving neons too.

RBL Scrangie-ish

Hi all,

Today we finally got our bed. I slept a few nights in the livingroom, but I'm glad that's over!!! My nailpolish-stash is already set in the new room, and I have so much space :) I will post a picture when it's completely done.

Between painting and sanding I decided to try and fix my own RBL Scrangie. I never bought this beauty and I still regret it...

There are two things you need: China Glaze Grape Pop (or a similar purple creme) and Jesse's Girl Confetti.
Quiet simple, but it does the trick pretty good, let's take a look:

Gorgeous right??!! This is one coat of Grape Pop and a layer of Confetti!

I dig it!! Even though it isn't a dupe..it's close enough, at least I think it is.

OPI Midnight Blue Glitter (+ blue jelly base)

Hi all,

It's weekend! Too bad I'm having a headache.
The house is still not finished, my nails are in a bad condition (I broke some of them AGAIN :@ ) but I wanted to show you this manicure anyway.

OPI's Dating a Royal is a gorgeous color and I decided to layer OPI's Midnight Blue Glitter over it. MBG is a glitter in a grey/ charcoal base packed with blue, silver and black/dark glitter. Really pretty!

This manicure is two layers of Dating a Royal and one coat of Midnight Blue Glitter. Great application and formula of both polishes!
I'm glad I could get my hands on this glitter!!! But I think the polish will rock even better on a black/ dark grey base :)

Essence Ballerina Backstage - Grand Plié In Black

Hi all,

Just a quick NOTW, finally...my nails were naked for over a week!!! As a manicure I applied the black polish from the Essence Ballerina Backstage collection called 'Grand-Plié in Black', This is a black creme with orange glitter in it, really pretty. Gives an ordinairy black a different look.

This is two coats, no topcoat. The formula is a bit thick but no real problems with the application. Sorry for the very bad lighting, but it is raining and dark outside and my lightbox is somewhere in our new house...

It reminds me a bit of China Glaze Fortune Teller, but way more subtle. I can't give a comparison because I don't own Fortune Teller.

This is the only polish I bought from the Ballerina Backstage collection.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance is a must have!! It's an eyeshadow-primer.
Keeps your eyeshadow set the entire day. Easy to apply and blending of shades becomes easier.
I bought it at Sephora with a 25% discount. (normal prize €16,50)

Benefit the POREfessional, another great product. Makes your pores smaller, with an invisible layer that feels very smooth. It can be applied whenever you want, great to-go product. I really needed a product to get rid of pores. Ugh, I hate them! This is expensive (€ 37,60) but I also bought it at Sephora with 25% discount.

Too Faced Naked Eye, a palette with gorgeous eyeshadows to create a naked/ nude look. Great colors and pigmentation. I bought it on Ebay for €14 incl. shipping!

Look at this!! It's seethrough and looks like jelly or candy. It's a gloss with an orange/coral vibe. I needed it, just for the looks :') Also available in pink. €3,99 at Kruidvat.

Miranda from Mirannie's Nails has a blogsale (go check it out!) and I bought three polishes.

I was lemming OPI's Midnight Blue Glitter for a while, so yay!! I don't have swatches unfortunately.

Bloom Mena, a black holographic polish. I'm curious how it looks in the bright summersun.

The last polish is Studio M, Slamming Red. I wore this already but this is a PITA! You need a bottle of topcoat to even this baby out! Great color though :)

Sunny day - holo time!

Well, a holografic polish is awesome with sunny weather, but I still haven't seen the sun!!!!!!!!! Aaaarggghhhh!! Anyway, The color I want to show you is Tristam from a-england.

Yes I know, you've seen it a thousand times already but I la-la-love blues, so I had to buy this pretty!
It's a medium blue holo with a purple touch. Just one coat to get opaque and it has a great formula.

No sunny pictures....but gorgeous no matter what!!!

Kiko Sparkle Touch - comparison

Today I will show you an older comparison. I'm very busy with the new house, so I haven't done any manicures lately. Luckily I found these pictures on my laptop.

Kiko has a great variety of Sparkle Touch polishes and I love them all. But I thought it would be a good idea to show them in a little comparison. So that's what I did... As my base I used Kiko #335 Ink Blue.

Love and Beauty Sparkling Currant

When we were in New York City I went to Forever21. Last year I wasn't really fond of this store but this year I bought a lot of things. Including some nailpolish, duhh!

Love & Beauty Sparkling Currant is one of the polishes I bought. For a whopping $2,80 this beauty was mine!! Gotta love the dollar!

Sparkling Currant is a dark red with a pink undertone. It has lot's of gold glitter and I dig this color combination! I applied two coats and I finished the manicure with David topcoat.

I like the formula of SC, it has a good application and dries rather quick.

I'm pleasantly surprised! yay :)

NYC Starry Silver Glitter

Hi all !

Today was a hot day, 31º Celsius (87,8º Fahrenheit) It was busy at work and after work I went back to our new house to remove wallpaper. Yuck, in this heat! Not very pleasant. But someone's gotta do it ;)

I took pictures of my NOTW after an entire workday, so please don't mind the crappy look.

As my basecolor I used OPI's Suzi Says Feng Shui. I applied two coats of her and I really like the dusty vibe this blue has. I finished my manicure with a cheap*ss ($ 99cent) polish from NYC. It's called Starry Silver Glitter (105) and is a clear base with lots of small silver glitter and larger pink and blue glitter. Very pretty!!

These past few weeks I have an urge to use a glitter polish over my manicure. I really don't know why, but I like it! But I can't pick a favorite...What's your favorite glitter-finish polish?

OPI / Wet N Wild combo & an update

Hi everyone! :) How's life?

I had a very hectic week at work after getting back from New York City.

My nails are stil a mess but I couldn't care less. I don't feel like wearing nail polish but I forced myself last night.

Besides work and nails I have a little update; we bought our first house!! Jeej!! Finally, I wanted this for so long but we couldn't find anything that ticked all the boxes. It's actually the house of my boyfriend's parents. It has a garage with driveway and within a two minute walk you're in the city centre.

On to the polish:

OPI Do You Think Im Tex-y? is a darker berry pink jelly. They call it a sorbet finish though. In the shade it looks more reddish pink but it's a great color. I like jellies and their squishy look!!

I added a little sparkle on this manicure just because I can!
Wet N Wild, Party Of Five Glitters has a clear base with only hexagon glitter in different sizes. It has green, turquoise, silver, gold and pink hexagon. This combination is real eyecatching and fun to look at.

I applied three thin coats of OPI DYTIT? and one layer of Wet N Wild POFG.

The formula of both was okay, they dried quick and glossy. Party Of Five Glitters isn't that gritty so you don't need an extra layer of topcoat.

Tomorrow will be very exciting, I'm going to the Big Apple!! I went there last year and we just had to go back, NYC rocks!! I love the chaos on Time Square and the silence in Central Park. It's just awesome!!!

Anyhooow, I wanted to show you my Nail Of The Week. I had a crappy week at work, five nails are f*cked and it's just terrible to look at. But I don't feel like chopping them down.
As you can see, my middle is short again. The ring has a big crack but I was able to fix it with some glue :') [Just for NYC-week. At work this wouldn't last] The pinkie had a little accident as well, but it was still a nubbie so you don't really see the difference. The other hand is just as bad, ah well..

OPI Ali's Big Break, just because this is a gorgeous red.

This manicure is three coats and I finished with a layer of Poshe topcoat.

I la la love this color! Too bad it looks like shit at the moment.

ORLY Galaxy Girl

When the ORLY Cosmic FX collection came out last year, I bought all six of them. The only one still untried; Galaxy Girl. Still don't know why, because this is one awesome polish!

Galaxy Girl is a dark red/brown (I'd call it vampy) with blue duochrome and sometimes a hint of pink appears. This is a lot of stuff in one polish, but soo pretty!! Take a look..

To get the polish totally opaque, I applied three coats. It has a great formula and fast dryingtime.

I finished with a layer of David topcoat.

Essence Blossoms etc...

Hi all!

Today I have a few nailpolishes from Essence latest Trend Edition.

It's called ' Blossoms etc...' They are all pastel colors with shimmer, very nice for spring!

I bought three polishes: 01 A Hint Of Mint, 02 I Like, 03 My Fellow Yellow.

The shimmer is not super visible on the nail, so that makes it a bit difficult to photograph. Especially the yellow, that was a PITA. Anyway I tried my best :)

I applied two coats of every color and didn't finish with a topcoat. The formula was okay and dryingtime average. These colors are very pretty, I love the hidden shimmer. However we've seen these colors before. But I guess that's with almost every new nailpolish...

Butter London's Victoriana & Rosie Lee

Onlangs werd me aangeboden een review te doen voor Zalando. Je weet wel, van die tv-reclame waarin een schreeuwende man bang is voor nog meer schoenen :') haha!!

Ik was blij verrast want ik weet dat ze er veel schoenen, leuke zomerjassen en jurkjes verkopen. Echter had ik er geen flauw benul van dat ze ook beautyproducten in hun assortiment hebben.

Onder het kopje cosmetica vind je een hele rits met nagelproducten. Ze verkopen o.a Koh, Butter London, Priti NYC en Pieces. (Je kunt in de Pieces online shop ook veel andere producten vinden)

Omdat ik al maanden aan het kwijlen ben op Victoriana van Butter London, was het niet zo moeilijk welke producten ik zou gaan reviewen:

Butter London's Rosie Lee & Victoriana.

Victoriana is een blauw met groenige ondertoon en zit vol zilveren micro-glittertjes. Wow, dit is winnaar. Prachtig niet waar?!! De applicatie is super, net als boter ;) Het duurde ook maar even voordat de lak droog was, zo wil ik het graag zien!

Victoriana is a blue with green undertone en is packed with silver micro-glitter. This is a winner. Gorgeous right?!!! It applied like butter ;) It only took a small amount of time before is was dry. That's the way I like it!

Rosie Lee bij daglicht, 3 laagjes zonder topcoat.

Rosie Lee is een rose gold (roze/koperachtig) glitter in een doorzichtige basislak. De lak is binnen al mooi, maar buiten komt ie echt tot leven. Deze is echt tof en sprankelend!! *doet zonnebril op! De formule is wederom goed net als de droogtijd.

Rosie Lee is a rose gold glitter in a clear base. De color is pretty indoors but really shines outdoors in the sun!! This is cool and sparkly!! *puts on sunglasses! The formula on this one is also good, just like the dryingtime.

Mijn eerste ervaring met Butter London is goed bevallen, prachtige kleuren, goede applicatie en snelle droogtijd. Iets minder fijn is de verkoopprijs. Op zalando zijn de meeste BL voor 18 euro te krijgen. Dit vind ik prijzig, hoewel ik blij ben dat ze te koop zijn. Ik ken geen enkele andere Nederlandse site die Butter London lakjes verkoopt.

De website is makkelijk in gebruik en de levering van de lakjes was snel.

Ik maak wel even een kleine kanttekening: de namen van de lakjes.

Als je een bepaalde naam zoekt heb je pech, bij alle Butter London lakjes (ook van Koh) staat er enkel de kleur bij. Maarja als je 5 rode lakjes hebt is het niet makkelijk om de goede te vinden.

Ik was op voorhand ook benieuwd of ik mijn lakjes 'goed ' had besteld aan de hand van plaatjes op de website. Gelukkig was dit het geval.

Kiko #335 Ink Blue

Yes, I now have another great blue in my collection! Kiko came out with this gorgeous polish and named it 'Ink Blue'. It's a jelly and very dark but soo vibrant. It has a dupish feelin' compared with a bottle ORLY Royal Navy, but without the tiny glitter. Very very nice! Blue lovers, get it now!!

I guess I made you all curious, so here is the blue beauty!
Little note; it started raining while taking photos, so the drops on the nails are rain.

I applied three coats of Ink Blue and it's formula was flawless. I bumped a nail but the polish straightened itself. Yeah, that's the way I like it! The dryingtime was okay and it's glossy without a topcoat.

What do you think?

Edit: on my iPad the color looks way darker...strange, anyway think Royal Navy brightness!

Sensique 117

The past few days I didn't put any nailpolish on. That's pretty rare, but I was tired and not in a polish-mood. Yesterday I wanted to have a nudish/VNL look, but I ruined it before it was dry...ugh!

Luckily I made some pictures before this happened!! haha!

Sensique is a brand unknown to many, I guess. My friend Nina bought it in Poland last year. The color is really pretty, it's a golden/beige shimmer. I still have to try it, but it looks suitable for layering. Enough with the talking...

This is one layer of Sensique 117, and it applies easy. The formula is somewhat frosty, but the strokes don't bother me this time. It's hardly noticable.

I dig it, the gold sparkles and is flashy!

Petite Sparkle Touch Polish

Hi all!

Today a really cute polish, Eyeko Petite Polish. I don't have many pastel pinks but I like to wear it once in a while. It looks like I'm nude / french manicured.
As a bonus I added Kiko Sparkle Touch #270, love this manicure-upgrade!

I applied two coats of Petite Polish and also two of the Kiko Sparkle Touch. Just because I was able to get the hexagons on the entire nail. One layer of David topcoat and my manicure is ready!

Essence Cracking Top Coat, Part Two

Well, I gave the Essence Crackle polish another try. Click to see the first part. I bought the silver shimmery basecoat hoping the result would be better dan the previous manicure...but I have to say, the white crackle doesn't do it for me!!!

Let's take a look...

Two coats of the silver base color and after that I waited for about 4 minutes to dry. That's also on the 'How To' at the back of the bottle... I added a thicker crackle coat but the result is horrible. I waited and waited but nothing really happened!! Ugh! No more Essence crackle for me!

I really love love love the P2 Crackles, so If you have the chance please get one those! Too bad they don't have a white version, but maybe this will happen in the future :)

Hello guys,

Finally I had some time to use my new Hello Kitty plate from Born Pretty Store. I don't have a lot of time to do nailart, but once in a while I'm able to!

Hello Kitty is cute but I'm not a super pink person so my manicure is a bit darker :) It's black and white with star-shaped rhinestones (also from BPS, available in different shapes)

And yes, my pinkie has left the building :') it broke..again!!

I applied China Glaze White Out and Misa Black Out (funny seeing these names together!) as my basecolors. For the Hello Kitty design I also used Black Out and I finished with a coat of Poshe.

Yes, I know. What's up with all the posts about cracklepolishes?? Haven't we seen enough?? I guess so...but I just wanted to show you a white version of Essence!! It's brand new and because I always try to blog about new stuff of local available brands, I made a quick picture!

My basecolor is China Glaze 2Nite and I added one layer of the white crackle. I'm not sure if I like the pattern of this crackle so I have to give it another try. Maybe a brighter basecolor could make a difference.

Essence, Where Is The Party?

First of all, my hands look like shit! I have little bleeding cuts everywhere, sometimes it itches but most of the time it hurts. Don't know why, but I blame the weather! My hands look like a grandma, ugh!

On to the good news. Essence released some new nailpolishes and I bought number 43 "Where is the party?" A purple/green duochrome, very pretty but soo hard to capture on camera.

Well it was dark so this is the best I could do:

This manicure is two coats and I finished with a coat of Poshe. I'm not very fond of the formula, but maybe I wasn't patient enough... The duochrome seems frosty and I don't like brushstrokes, but this is such a lovely polish I don't mind, even though I'm not a duochrome fanatic!!

Pelican Grey is a gorgeous light grey with tiny shimmer. Very work-appropriate. This is two coats and Poshe to finish the manicure.

In my previous post you could see Zoya Nidhi as my basecolor. This is such a pretty color, I have to show this on it's own. Nidhi is a warm red with tons of gold and silver glitter...very nice. It's part of the Sparkle collection from summer 2010 and that is an awesome collection; Charla and Ivanka!!!!

Enough, here are the pictures :)

This is two coats of Nidhi and I finished with Poshe. Luckily it didn't gave me shrinkage this time!!

I think it's lovely and very classy!

P2 Crackling Gold Rush

Hi everyone,

Today yet another crackle polish. P2 already came with a black and silver version but I stumbled upon a brand new color, Gold Rush. A pretty gold with sparkles (just like the silver version)
Because I'm weak, I had to buy this polish... :') Let's take a look!

I took Zoya Nidhi as my basecolor (coz I was wearing this color) and applied one, not too thin, coat of Gold Rush. This crackle immediately comes to life. Within a few seconds it starts to crackle and it's ready for a glossy coat in just a minute. I adore this one!!! I'm not a gold person but hell yeah, good job P2!!

Zoya Kelly

Hi all,

Finally it's weekend! Hope you had a good week, mine was rather busy..

Today I want to show you Zoya Kelly.
Kelly is a dark grey with purple tones in it. Sometimes it's grey but depending on the light it looks purple. I love this grey, it's cool!

Zoya Kelly is opaque in one coat, but I did two and finished with China Glaze Fast Forward topcoat. In the photo Kelly seems plastic/semi matte but I think my camera freaked out....It's shiny!

When I was browsing true the Zoya polishes I wondered why there are hundred of names but my name isn't! Well, maybe something for the future... Zoya Linnie, a bright dark blue with lots of green glitter in it! I would sign for it haha!!

China Glaze Sea Spray

The Anchors Away collection from China Glaze is very nice! Not all the colors are ment for me but this polish is! Sea Spray is a light blue (not pastel) almost grey looking. In the sun it reveals a little secret, tiny shimmer! Super cute!

I did two coats of Sea Spray and finished with David topcoat. The formula was good, so it applied nicely. I adore the hidden shimmer, they did a great job on this one!

Today just a NOTD. After Zoya Bijou I didn't have the time to totally re-do my nails. So I decided to layer China Glaze Ahoy! over Bijou. The color was good as a base because I only needed one coat to finish. The result is really pretty!!

Looking at swatches I've seen on other blogs, the color is still pretty accurate.

Today I'm wearing pink. Not just an ordinairy pink but a jelly. Not just an ordinairy jelly but a neon. Not just an ordinairy neon but a glass fleck!! Can you keep up?? It's like candy!! Zoya Bijou is the polish I'm rambling about! A great summer polish for a pedicure wearing flipflops! On to the pictures...

This is three coats and David topcoat. Because it's a jelly it has somewhat visible nailline, but it doesn't bother me. The polish is cool, too bad neons are hard to capture but I hope you'll get the idea.

Zoya Crystal

Hi everyone,

On saturday I received my nailetc. package with a few new Zoya and China Glaze polishes. The first one I want to show you is Zoya Crystal from the Fire & Ice collection.

Crystal is a light blue foil with lots of gold sparkles. This is such a nice winter color. The gold sparkles in the sun, but because of the great timing I didn't get any photos in sunlight. Ugh, time for spring!

I applied three coats of Crystal. It was a bit on the thin side, but that didn't gave me any problems.

A few months ago I mentioned that Zoya doesn't like Nubar Diamont as a topcoat....Well, Poshe isn't her best friend either!!! Look at this, the picture is taken the morning after applying Crystal.

Shrinkage to tha maxx....yuck!

Does anyone have a topcoat that works great with Zoya?

I still have to try ChG Fast Forward Topcoat over a Zoya polish.

Kiko Sparkle Touch - Red Glitter #237

My red nailpolish collection gets bigger and bigger. I still don't know why but red is my new thing... when I saw this Kiko Sparkle Touch polish, I knew this would be awesome!!

I applied one coat of OPI Big Apple Red as my basecolor. The sparkle polish has gold and silver glitter/flakes in different sizes. It's sooo pretty!! I only needed one coat to finish with.

Kelier Blue Crackle Polish

Crackle polishes are a real hype right now. I showed two P2 Crackling Topcoats back in september, but today I have a new polish.

It's a Kelier Crackle polish and is available at Born Pretty Store. Jessica from BPS was so kind to send me the blue version! Why blue? I'm fed up with the black ones every nailbrand is selling.

I decided to put on two basecolors, just to see different finishes.

Misa Right Here, No More Later is a bright blue creme and China Glaze Lemon Fizz is a pastel-yellow creme.

I applied two coats of each basecolor and waited for about 5 minutes.

Then I added one layer of the crackle polish. You have to be patient because it takes way longer than a regular crackle. After 10 minutes the manicure is ready to go.

I really love the color and like the way it crackles. The formula of Kelier is thick but I think that's easier when applying. Maybe that's also why it takes longer to crackle, but I'm not sure.

Kiko Sparkle Touch - Lustrous Amethyst #261

Hi everyone!!

Today I'm showing you one of the gorgeous Kiko Sparkle Touch polishes.
It's called Lustrous Amethyst and has number 261 on the bottle.
Because it's a touch polish, I started my manicure with a basecoat. I love blues so I picked OPI Dating a Royal.

Enough with the talking, on to the pictures!

Lovely right?? I applied two coats of Dating a Royal and one coat of Lustrous Amethyst.

In real life this looks even better!! My camera needs to retire...but I hope you get the idea!

The sparkle is pink and purple in combination with the blue base. I don't know if it changes depending on the basecolor. I'll have to try it some day :)

P2 Stormy

Hi all,

I felt like wearing a nude color today, so I decided to try one of my new P2 polishes, Stormy. It has a golden shimmer in a beige base and it's really pretty.

I applied two coats, no topcoat. The formula is nice and it dried fast. I totally love this color, sand with a twist.

My weekend already started, but I have so many things to do!!

Kiko #305 Chrome Light Green

After the golden Kiko I showed you previously, I will show you another Kiko polish. This polish is called Chrome Light Green (#305) It's silver with a touch of green. Compared to a regular silver foil you see the difference.

This is three coats & again the formula was good and it applied the way it should.

I think Kiko polishes are great in different ways; It has a range of colors and finishes, good formula and a nice price, only €3,90 per bottle.

Kiko #274 Microglitter Gold

Hi all,

Today I will show you my first golden polish. I don't like gold on me for some reason but I figured this polish might be a good konad-polish. Kiko #274 Microglitter gold is a foilish shimmer with a touch of champagne. When I applied this gold I actually liked it on my nails!

This manicure is three coats, the formula is good and it dried pretty fast.
I will try it with a Konad asap and let you know if it works! (I don't own China Glaze 2030)

Kiko has very nice Sparkle Touch polishes. Somewhat like CND effects, I posted one before Click! but I bought some new sparkles! Curious and can't wait to see my posts? Catrice, Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans!

A few months ago Catrice released three new polishes...I actually thought I didn't need any of them... Boy was I wrong!
The polish I'll show you is a must have!!

Catrice, Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans! is a dark dusty creme with tiny light blue glitter. It isn't very noticable but in the sun the polish really comes to life! Lucky for me the sun came out a few times today.

HQWBJ! has a good formula, it dries fast and I only needed one coat. I did two for the pictures though, in case the camera picks up visible nail line.....

It reminds me of ORLY's Royal Navy, my favorite blue! Not the color but the way the glitter appears in the sun, I just love that kind of finish!!

P2 Your Wild Side

P2 is a german brand I really like; it's cheap, applies great and the colors are nice. 'Your Wild Side' is the new Limited Edition and lucky me, I was able to get all three colors!

010 - Vibrant Green

020 - Powerful Orange

030 - Dramatic Black

I'll start of with Powerful Orange, 2 coats

With topcoat

The finish of this P2 is more plastic than matte but I adore this color. It isn't your average orange, this has a milky touch. Just like the bottle! Super sweet and girlie. Second photo is most accurate.

Application is great & it dries pretty fast.

Vibrant Green, 1 coat

With topcoat

Wow, This color reminds me of Nfu Oh #125. An olive, mossy green. I think it might need a second coat but I didn't have much time. It gets dark here way to fast....

Vibrant Green is a real matte polish. With topcoat the shimmer is visible but wait, there is more --->

I see some holo!! Though I didn't notice it when taking the pictures :D

Dramatic Black isn't super matte, but I love it! It's much better than the Essence Black Out in my previous post!! The application is flawless, dries fast and looks great with or without topcoat!!!

Essence Black & White

Hi all,

Yesterday I ran into the newest Essence Trend Edition display 'Black & White' and luckily there were some polishes left. This display consists of a black and white soft touch polish (not matte or glossy) and a holo topcoat. The white polish 'White Hype' was gone so I only took home the black polish 'Black Out' and the topcoat 'White Holo'.

First of all, sorry for the terrible nails (I need to even them) and application (bubbles aaarghhhh!) but it was late last night, bad light and I took the pictures only this morning...on the other hand, the sun appeared!!

Black Out is very cute. I like the way it looks with the soft plastic vibe. Too bad I didn't have great pictures...but I hope you'll get an idea. Application of Black Out was a bit tricky, it was thick and not easy to get it even over the entire nail.

The White Holo topcoat disappointed me. Don't get me wrong I love blue, but when I think of holo I don't want a blueish shimmer.... Anyway, it applied good and dried very fast.

China Glaze Ingrid + Little Upgrade

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing okay!! I'm at home today because I'm not feeling fine....headaches, high temperature...ugh, I hate it!! I had some time to re-do my nails and I decided it was time for Ingrid.
Ingrid is from the China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection and is a darker brown with tons of golden shimmer in it. Very pretty and cool for this time of the year.

And my index failed once again, so I shortened every nail. Ah well...

As an upgrade of my manicure I did a subtle Konad. I used plate M57 for the leopard-design and Essence Iced Chai Latte to stamp with. To finish my manicure I did one coat of Gosh Magic Star on the Konad-nails.

The color of my stamping polish is a little disappointing, it looks silver but it's supposed to be beige/nude.
Anyway I like the manicure, If I had more time I would do a total Konad. Unfortunate the polish took too long to dry.

Suzi meets Fairy Alice

Hi all,

Today I have another blue manicure to show you. Most of the times when I can't decide, I pick a blue polish. Blue is my weakness :D

OPI Suzi Says Feng Sui is a bright dusty creme which I used as my basecolor. I added some glitter and holographic polish to spice it up.

I did one coat of Suzi Says Feng Shui and added a layer of OPI Absolutely Alice. China Glaze's Fairy Dust is layered over my ringfinger.

Christmas Spirit?

Hello everyone,

It's almost Christmas, but I'm not feelin' it...yet. I tried to make a Christmas-manicure but I was home late so I did a much easier look. OPI Big Apple Red is a vibrant red creme (which almost looks jelly) and a gorgeous in your face red. Not too orange, not too blue just the way a real red should be. To finish my look I added Party Hearty from China Glaze's latest holiday collection.

Please be aware, I tried to bring the holiday/christmas spirit into the pictures...

I just adore this owl!

I added three coats of OPI Big Apple Red and finished with China Glaze Fast Forward Topcoat & two layers of Party Hearty on my ringfinger. The formula of this OPI is great!! Party Hearty is just one of the two polishes I bought from the collection because it's nice to spice up manicures.

I love the red on my too pale hands in combination with the snow....well, I'm just weird :D

Milani Totally Cool

Hi all,

It's cold, there's snow and I'm still busy with work. Well, not really because right now I'm trying to enjoy my weekend. Anyhow, I hope your weekend is great!!

Today I finally removed Zoya Charla, and I thought Milani Totally Cool would be nice as a new manicure. Totally Cool is a medium purple with tons of pink glitter. Gorgeous!

I did three coats of Milani and finished with Poshe. The formula was okay, dried pretty quick and I didn't have any problems with the application.

Long Time No See

Hi all,

I didn't feel like posting, because of that it is almost a month since my last blog-update. I'm very busy at work and make long hours. A lot of times I don't have any daylight to make pictures of my nails and when I'm home I have plenty of things to do.

Today I'm wearing Zoya Charla with a subtle Konad. I really enjoy Charla, it's bright and it dries really fast. Which is a must when you don't have lots of freetime :)

This manicure is three coats and I finished with Poshe. I used Konad plate M65 and China Glaze OMG for the flower design. It's not in your face but I like it.

OPI Ali's Big Break

Ahh yes, I have entered the dark world of red nailpolish!!
At first I wasn't into the OPI Burlesque collection but after seeing great swatches I really needed some polishes. Ali's Big Break is one of them.

Ali's Big Break is a cool red with a lot of gold micro-glitter. Sometimes larger particles/flakes appear. These are hard to notice in the pictures, in real life they are more visible. Enough with the talking..

Just gorgeous, right? I applied three coats of ABB and finished with Poshe topcoat. OPI's are always a pleasure formula-wise and this is no exception.

China Glaze Endurance

Every year nailpolishbrands come up with sets giving awareness to breastcancer. I really love the idea but not every pink is my favorite.
Why do they always come up with dull pink?

This year China Glaze came up with three pink shades. I bought just one.
Endurance is a lovely pink with silver glasfleck shimmer. It has the same vibe as the Summer 2009 Collection which included glass fleck shimmers.

I did three coats of Endurance and finished with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. It has a good formula and dryingtime. So no problems with the application.

Flakes Comparison, Gosh vs. Inglot

Hello everyone,

Today I'll give you a comparison of two flake polishes in a clear base. I think flakes are great to give your manicure an extra touch.

The two polishes are: Gosh Rainbow & Inglot #205.
I used Misa Black Out as my base color. Black Out is a black creme which is opaque in one coat!!

Gosh Rainbow - Middle & pinkie

Inglot #205 - Index & ring

Rainbow is much more orange compared to #205 which is very green. Both are one coat and they dry equally fast. I really adore the Inglot, because I think green flakies are awesome!!

Which one do you like best?

Back In Time, Summer Days 2009

Hi guys,

Just recently I bought the last two polishes from the China Glaze Summer Days 2009 Collection. This collection is great, all glass fleck shimmers and suchs lovely colours. I know this isn't the best time to show you a summer collection but the weather just screams for a warm feel. It's cold and the sun is nowhere to be seen....

Orange Marmalade, a bright orange with golden glass fleck shimmer.

Cherry Pie, a red which has an orange touch and glass fleck shimmer.

Grape Juice, a purple with silver glass fleck shimmer.

Strawberry Fields, a pink with golden glass fleck shimmer.

Watermelon Rind, a green with teal flash and silver glass fleck shimmer.

Raspberry Festival, a red with pink undertones and dark pink glass fleck shimmer.

What an awesome collection, I really love it!! These are all three coats, only Raspberry Festival has two. Just because it started to rain very hard so I had to be quick to get some daylight, without the rain ruining my pictures.

Every picture is without sunshine, so please don't forget!! They look so much better in sunlight when the glass flecks sparkle in the sun!!

I can't decide which I like best, What's your favorite?

Red Alert!!!

Hi everyone,

Some of you noticed it before, but I don't wear reds. Check my Categories! The only red I had for a long time, China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Still untried...I don't know why but reds weren't my thing. Due to the change of weather I constantly layed my eyes on some gorgeous red shades. So I thought it was time and ordered a few, yes I fail !!!

The first red beauty I tried is OPI Reflection. It's from the Designer Series and is a glowing red glitter with pink undertones and small, hardly noticable, holographic parts. I still don't believe it's a real Linnie color, but I think it's a very pretty polish!!

I applied two coats of Reflection and finished off with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat. It smells like hell, yuck, super chemical...! But it does the job right so I won't give China Glaze a hard time :D

The formula of the OPI is good! I hope the sun pops through the clouds 'coz I want to see this in full glory!!

What do you think of Reflection? Do you wear reds often?

Misa When You Say My Name

Hi all,

It's monday...ugh! Still 5 more days to go until it's weekend :')
I don't like getting up in the early morning, especially when it's cold...brrr!

Misa is one of my favorite brands in nailpolish and today I will show you a polish I like but it's not totally me.
When You Say My Name is a dark brown with copper shimmer in it. I don't like coppertones but the total package of the polish is nice! It reminds me of old leaves, very pretty, very autumn.

As you can see, my pictures are taken without sunshine so the color in the bottle is more like it. Sorry about the somewhat crappy quality but I didn't have a lot of time to make some decent ones....

WYSMN is a two coater and I did a coat of Nubar Diamont to finish this manicure. The formula is good, it applied the way it should and dries average :) I don't see me wearing this polish a lot, but it has a cool autumn vibe!!

New York Summer, Amaranth

Enjoying your weekend? I am, but it's already sunday so tomorrow it's back to work. Time flies when you're free :) The weather was shitty yesterday, it rained a lot and the wind was cold! Today is going to be a bit better, thank god!

On to the polishes. I want to show you the ultimate green jelly. New York Summer has a gorgeous bright green called Amaranth. Wooahh, this one is nice!!

I applied two coats of Amaranth and because of the jelly texture, you can still see some visible nail line.

I couldn't care less, this is just awesome!! Not only the formula was pretty good, the price is even better:

Misa It's You!

Hi guys,

I finally received my package from Transdesign including some new Misa polishes. I really adore Misa, it's good quality, not very expensive and I like the square bottles :) If you never bought any, please do, you won't regret it!

For today I will show you 'It's You!' This polish is from the 'What I Like About You' Fall 2010 collection.
Just gorgeous!! Take a look:

The base for this color is grey, pretty dark like charcoal. It has tiny green shimmer in it and flashes pink duochrome depending on the light. Nice!!! It's hard to capture this duochrome but I tried.

This manicure is two coats and it applied really smooth. The dryingtime is average though.

ORLY Viridian Vinyl Part Deux

I know some of you are waiting for the glossy finish pictures of ORLY Viridian Vinyl, so here are two shots. To give it a little more spice, I added some glitter :) Just subtle though.

Wearing it with a topcoat It might be better to use an extra layer of Viridian Vinyl,
but I'm happy with the result!

Hi all,

Today it's a real sunday, it's sunny, I'm lazy and I don't feel like doing anything. Hope your sunday will be a bit more than that :P

ORLY came out with the PLASTIX collection a while ago, I liked the idea so I had to try one of them.
I picked the blue/green color Viridian Vinyl because the color is awesome!
This polish doesn't dry matte but semi-matte, just like neons.

This manicure is only one coat!! Super! A quick mani and fast dryingtime :)
I really like the color and the way it looks, But I need to try it with a topcoat.
The color is a bit too blue on the picture, it leans more to a green teal.

Don't mind the big horizontal crack on my middle nail, this one is about to die... :'(

Ho Ho Ho Merry Midnight

Hello everyone!

Today it's sunny and thought it was nice to make some shots of OPI Merry Midnight. It was still untried in my helmer...I know the weather is too nice for this kind of wintershade, but what the heck!

Merry Midnight is part of the OPI Holiday Wishes Collection 2009. I bought it when the collection came out and it soon became a hard to find polish. So I'm still glad I got my hands on this beauty.

It's a deep purple base with glitter and flakes. Just gorgeous!
This manicure is three coats and it applied good. I just love the Nfu Oh flakes so MM can join the club!!

Blogger was having issues, I couldn't get any pictures on the website!! Arrrgh, but it works again :D

The weekend is over *poof* it's gone before you now it. Today I want to show you a polish I got a few weeks ago. NYX Lime Sparkle, a pretty green glitter. If you like greens, this should be in your collection!!

This is 3 coats, no top coat. I think this color is cool! Application and formula is just like your average glitter. It dries fast and could use a topcoat :)

P2 Dangerous

Hi everyone,

Today it's sunday and it is going to be a great day. 23 degrees celsius in october is hot!! Sun screams holo or neon but I decided to keep the color more autumn-like.

P2 Dangerous is an awesome teal creme which leans more to the blue side.
I adore P2 because of the good quality and great prices! This one is no exception.

To give this polish a little more spice, I added my beloved Essence Glisten Up! This tiny bottle has a lot of magic :D Just take a look:

Just gorgeous, right? Next time I have to shake the bottle though, not every nail has the same amount of flakes :) I did two coats of Dangerous but it was opaque enough with just one coat. Great formula and application!!

Taupe/Brown Comparison

Hi all,

After wearing Eyeko Posh Polish for an entire workweek I decided to take out some of my taupe/brown polishes and do a comparison. Just because taupes are so easy to combine and very work-appropriate.

First I will show you a comparison with lighter taupes:

From index to pinkie:
Color Club, High Society
Catrice, Clay-ton My Hero
Eyeko, Posh Polish
Essence Creamylicious, Chocolate Shake

As you can see CC High Society & Eyeko Posh Polish are very similar. Clay-ton My Hero has a very nice golden shimmer and the darker Essence had red shimmer in it.

The second comparison is with more brown colors:

Essie, Mink Muffs

Catrice, Lost In Mud

China Glaze, Ingrid

OPI, You Don't Know Jacques

Mink Muffs is the most brown polish and Ingrid has a gorgeous golden shimmer. This one was still untried!!

YDNJ & Lost In Mud are very similar so if you don't have the money to buy an OPI, you can get a Catrice for almost nothing :D

Eyeko Posh Polish

Hi all,

Today I picked a color which is neutral and matches most of my clothes. Eyeko Posh Polish is a light taupe and I really like it!! It looks like a bar of milk chocolat, yum!

Please don't mind the bad cuticles, they need some TLC...

OPI Standing Room Only

Hi all,

Yesterday I felt like something holographic, the sun was shining and it might be the last few times this year. Anyway, I got this gorgeous OPI last week. A pretty silver holo, not super in your face but noticable.

For this manicure I did two layers of China Glaze Recycle (my favorite grey) and one layer of OPI Standing Room Only. And I really like the combination. The grey blends perfect with the silver.

Direct sunlight

The index has a big smudge on the edge and my middle is short again, yugh. But I didn't have time to phile them even.

Kiko #265 & Sparkle Touch #270

Hi all!

After the cracking manicure I wanted something else. I decided to try my new Kiko polish, #265. The polishes don't have numbers but fortunately when you go to their website the names appear when clicking on it :)

#265 Midnight Blue is a gorgeous deep dark blue with tiny shimmer in it. I love blues and this is no exception!!

This is just one coat and SV topcoat!! The formula and application of this Kiko polish is good! For € 3,90 per bottle it isn't expensive so I'm happy.

I also bought Kiko top coat #270. This one is called Aqua Paillettes.
It has a clear base with glitter in it combined with Hexagons. The colors are green, blue and teal.

The manicure could use an extra layer of top coat just to make sure you don't feel the hexagons anymore :) Even though I like this manicure, just enough to spice up a regular polish!

I think it's really cool!! When your basecolor is dry you add a layer of the top coat and you see the cracks appear :D You can feel them a little bit but that doesn't bother me. After the finishing glossy coat it's hardly noticable.

ORLY Halleys Comet or Isn't It ???

Hi everyone,

Today I will show you Halleys Comet from the ORLY Cosmic FX Collection. A stunning blue turquoise polish with lots of green, silver & blue glitter in it. It's a duochrome and changes from turquoise into green.

I don't know if you noticed anything but....it are three polishes!! Did you spot any differences?? I will show you the three polishes that are on my fingers.

Zoya Charla, Essence Choose Me! and ORLY Halleys Comet

I did three coats on each finger and although they have slighly different application, opacity and dryingtime you can't really tell if you don't know it!!

Wibo Extreme Nails

Today I want to show you a brand I'v never used before, called Wibo. These polishes are from the Extreme Nails line. The bottle is really cute and it contains 8 ml. Unfortunately they don't have names but numbers.

Here you can see, #49, #58, #63 and #74

First up is # 63, which is a light grey with a tiny bit of lilac in it.
I think this is a lovely color!!

Second #49. This is a Green/Blue/Teal polish with golden shimmer.

#74 is an autumn color, great for those rainy days when the leafs are falling from the trees. It's a brown with reddish/purple shimmer. Hard to capture & yay, the sun peeked through the clouds when taking photos :D

And last but not least #58. This is a bright blue creme, which almost looks jelly. It has a turquoise/teal touch. But as always...picture doesn't do justice!!

All colors are 3 coats and no topcoat. The formula and application are good!! I'm impressed because the polish isn't expensive at all, €1 / €1,5..!!

My favorite is #58, This one is sooo pretty!!!

OPI DS Glamour DIY

Hi guys,

yesterday I was playing around with polish and decided I wanted an OPI DS Glamour manicure...unfortunately I don't own Glamour :') ...so I tried to make a good alternative,

*drumroll* Do It Yourself Glamour *drumroll*

For this manicure I used two coats of ORLY Royal Navy and one coat of OPI DS Original. I know it's not totally Glamour but I'm happy with the result :)

NYX Jungle

Hi all!!

I finally got my first NYX polishes and I want to show you Jungle. This is a green/blue duochrome with green/golden shimmer. It reminds me of OPI Yodel Me On My Cell but I didn't compare them side by side.
Anyway, here are the pictures:

I did three coats of Jungle, no topcoat. The formula and application are good so my first contact with NYX has been great!!

Inglot 963 & 205

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I got some presents from my friend Nina who came back from holiday! So today I wanted to try the 2 Inglot polishes she bought me.

Inglot 963 (why numbers? they are hard to remember) is a grey shimmer with hints of purple. It's hard to capture that on camera but it's lovely!!

This manicure is two coats. Sorry for the bad cuticles, they really need some tlc! The formula is okay, the only down side is the some what frosty finish (visible strokes) but I like it anyway.

To spice up my manicure I decided to add Inglot 205. These are flakes that change from yellow and orange to green. Awesome!!! It looks like Gosh Rainbow but they don't have the same color scheme.

I did the flakes after a day of work...so my manicure isn't very clean anymore :)
To create this look I added one layer of Inglot 205 and it dries really fast.

Inglot didn't disappoint me, I like this brand! Too bad you can't buy it over here...

China Glaze, Mummy May I ?

Hi all!!

I just received the Awakening collection from China Glaze and I had to try one immediately. Mummy May I is a dark purple jelly base with purple/pink glitter. I think this is very cool!!

This is three coats and Seche Vite Topcoat. (I now see some shrinkage on my index :( too bad) I really like this polish, not your average Halloween color. Well done!!

China Glaze Jitterbug + Konad

Hi all!

It's sunday, my lazy day!! Nothing to do , just relax and chill :)
I decided it was time for Jitterbug. This polish was still untried in my helmer and the sad weather made me choose this silver/grey foil!

When I was finished I felt like it needed some Konad. Don't know why but I gave it a try. I used China Glaze Metallic Muse and Imageplate M57.

I did two coats of Jitterbug. The formula of this China Glaze is good, nothing to complain!! I was a bit slow with stamping so I'm not super pleased with the result...but as always in real life I'm the only one who notices it :')

I still need to get my hands on the Bundle Monster plates...I want to try some new images. I believe I'm the only one who hasn't got them!

ORLY It's Not Rocket Science

Hello everyone!

The Cosmic FX collection from ORLY is stunning and I know you've seen it lots of times already on many blogs...but I want to show you It's Not Rocket Science. INRS is a mossy olive with glitter. When you love weird greens this is an awesome color!!

The pictures don't do justice though :) It looks better in real life.

I did three coats of INRS and Seche Vite topcoat. The formula is good and it applied excellent! The only down side is the some what longer dryingtime, but then the SV topcoat comes in handy!!

I'm off to go to diner with the BF and my dad :)

My NOTD is Lunar Eclipse from the Cosmic FX collection. The sun was shining so yay!!

This NOTD is three layers and Seche Vite topcoat. Yes I do have little shrinkage, but I love my SV anyway. The ORLY's from the Cosmic FX collection all are great in formula, the dryingtime was not superquick for a glitter polish but I don't complain :) I love this color!!

What's your favorite Cosmic FX polish??
